I've always wanted to do something like this. I'm really, really happy with the result. this is after two months in college. compare it with my earlier works from this year.

...seriously. what the futz. the heads are finally in much better proportion, the colour is bolder, richer and there are *gasp* patterns! I don't know where the kimono pattern came from- it just sort of materialized.
I also don't know why I put the Indian woman in there, as that would be more south Asian...meh. I like India. She's cool. it was really hard getting her skin tone even and smooth, I'm not used to darker skin tones that aren't black or white...good lesson.

This is Vietnam, Korea, China, Japan and India.
I plan on doing Western ethnic costume too.
